A Lil' Bit about Piper
Hi! I'm Piper! I write a bunch, both fiction and non-fiction. I'm very passioante about a lot of things... talking about myself is not one of those things.
I like to draw, although recently it's been hard to get back into the habit of it. For a very long time I worked exclusively with pen & ink, but I've been branching out to digital arts. It's a loooottt easier
to transfer digital arts online than it is to transfer pen & ink drawings. I'm hoping that this website can serve as a place where I can put both my drawings and writings for you to explore and enjoy :).
boring bio stuff
I was born in a small town in New York. Historically a train town it was doomed economically as soon as the highway system was introduced. By the time I was born in '97 the town's economy
was already terrible. Most people who lived there were destitute, and of the ones who "made it" they were only of a small substantial wealth. My family was poor, I was born to a working class mother and father. My dad
worked with furniture and my mom worked various entry-level jobs (still to this day!). Everything from cashiering to waitressing, anything to have a bit of extra money. My father died when I was one, leaving my mom with
three kids and one on the way. Growing up was difficult but um.... yeah lol.
Not to bore you to death with a comprehensive history of my life, I'll stick to relevant parts to me. I was always a curious child, that curiosity has never been beaten out of me. I'm still learning, still love to
learn, always trying to find ways to improve myself. As a teenager I fell in hard with doing drugs. My teenage years into early adulthood was filled with shirking responsibility in favor of getting high and doing fuck-all with my friends. I've been on-and-off sober since 21, and have been (almost completely) sober since March 2022. Now I'm playing a lot of catch-up. Wasting my youth sucked, being an edgy contrarian sucked. Now I get to spend my twenties exploring things I've always wanted to do but never had the time, money, or capabilities to do when I was younger. This includes! Drawing cartoons! Collecting dolls! Exploring myself without the use of drugs! Hell yeah!!
what's going on now?
Now I spend all my time reading and writing, drawing, creating, I love doing stuff. Constantly trying to be a better person than the one I was yesterday. Hopefully you can take a look at my jokes and memes and various other writings and find them silly, or moving. Feel free to drop a line on any of the social media I have listed :).
